The Echt & Skene Community Council area includes the five settlements of Kirkton of Skene, Lyne of Skene, Garlogie, Dunecht and Echt together with their surrounding country areas. The full extent of the area we cover is shown on the map.
We are a statutory body made up of local volunteers. We are non-party political, offering a collective voice on community matters. We have ten Community Councillors, with each of the five settlements having two designated representatives. We also welcome up to two youth members (aged 14-16 years) to join us and represent the views of our younger resident info
